Summary of Student Health Advantage Enhancements<\/h3>\n

The new IMG Student Health Advantage Plan has improved pricing and payment options and several benefit updates. Also, daily rates are now available in addition to monthly, so there’s no need to pay for coverage dates beyond your travel dates.<\/p>\n

Daily Rates<\/h3>\n

In the past only full months of coverage were available to purchase for the IMG Student Health Advantage Plan. That meant if your travel dates led to needing 3 months and 10 days of coverage, the premium cost was for 4 months of coverage. Now there are daily rates available. Just enter your actual travel dates and pay only for the coverage dates you need.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prices lowered<\/h3>\n

The premium rates on Student Health Advantage have been lowered!<\/span><\/p>\n

Payment Options Enhanced<\/h3>\n

There is a new option to pay monthly for your coverage. Many people need to show their school proof of coverage for the duration of their visa, but find paying the entire premium upfront to be a financial burden. There is now an option to buy up to 12 months of coverage and pay monthly<\/span> through an automatic charge to your credit or debit card. There is a 4% charge for this service.<\/p>\n

Benefit Change – personal liability<\/h3>\n

There is now a personal liability benefit added to the plan with a $10,000 benefit. This was previously an optional benefit subject to an additional premium charge.<\/p>\n

Benefit Change – maternity (Platinum Plan Only)<\/h3>\n

The maternity benefit on the Student Health Advantage Platinum Plan covers pregnancy where conception date is after the plan effective date. The benefit is subject to a $5,000 maximum including newborn nursery care.<\/p>\n

Eligibility based on residence and destination not citizenship<\/h3>\n

The Student Health Advantage Plan eligibility and pricing is now based on country of residence and country of destination not citizenship.<\/p>\n
